Yes, as a general rule, you can take an evening dose of Tritace 2.5 mg if it is the medicine you are prescribed for daily use.
Captopril has a short-term effect and a single dose of 12.5 mg does not preclude the use of Tritace. However, it is worth measuring your blood pressure again before taking the drug. If it is low (e.g. below 100/60 mmHg) or if you experience dizziness, weakness or fainting, contact your doctor before taking your next dose.
If blood pressure remains at a high level despite medication or similar situations are repeated, a medical consultation is advisable to assess the effectiveness of the current treatment and its possible modification.
