Good morning. I have been taking Pylera for five days. Today, after the second dose, there was a terrible burning sensation all over my face. There is no rash. After an hour, the burning began to decrease slightly.

Yes, hypersensitivity reactions can occur when using Pylera, however, severe burning of the entire face is not a typical side effect and requires caution. Even if no rash has appeared, this symptom can be an early signal of an allergic reaction.
If the burning sensation has disappeared and there are no other symptoms, watch carefully to see if the symptom recurs after the next dose. It is advisable to contact your doctor to discuss further treatment.
If, on the other hand, there is swelling of the face, lips or tongue, shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing or burning intensifies or affects other parts of the body, you should urgently seek medical help. Until the cause is clarified, please pay attention to any new symptoms that appear after taking subsequent doses of the drug.
