Hello, I have been taking Liberelle contraceptive pills for several years, in addition to Arpixor and Zotral for several months, which I am to replace with Duloxetine in the near future. I would like to ask if I can combine these drugs with Siofor 500 without fear of reducing their effectiveness? Should there be any time interval between them? Please also tell me if a cottage cheese bar eaten about 7 hours after taking Liberelle can affect its effectiveness?

Yes, Siofor 500 can be used simultaneously with Liberelle, Arpixor and sertraline (Zotral), as well as with duloxetine. There are no known significant interactions that would reduce the effectiveness of these drugs, so there is no need to maintain time intervals between taking them. It is only worth taking Siofor during or after a meal to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal ailments.
A cottage cheese bar eaten about 7 hours after taking a Liberelle tablet does not affect its effectiveness. Dairy products do not weaken the effect of oral contraceptives. The effectiveness of Liberelle may only be reduced if vomiting or severe diarrhoea occurs within about 3-4 hours of taking the tablet, or if you are taking certain medicines, such as strong enzyme inducers.
