Hello, I have doubts about combining these three drugs, each of which eliminates sodium and hardiancw additionally sugar from the body. Tertensif ,Telmizek 40,Jardiance . Should I supplement Potassium ?
On top of that, there is Betaloc 100mg and Metformax 500mgx 2
I have hypertension (regulated)
Left ventricular block of hiss bunch and diabetes, also under the control of Ha1b1.normal

With such a set of drugs, there is indeed a risk of electrolyte disorders, but not only sodium deficiency — equally important are fluctuations in potassium levels, which can go both ways. Tertensif SR can lower potassium, while Telmizek (telmisartan) can increase it, so the final effect is not obvious. Jardiance mainly affects the excretion of glucose and water, indirectly it can increase dehydration, which also affects electrolytes.
Therefore, it is not recommended to supplement potassium on your own without first determining its level in the blood. Excess potassium can be just as dangerous as its deficiency, especially in heart disease. The safest solution is to perform tests (ionogram, creatinine) and consult your doctor, who will decide on possible supplementation or treatment modification on this basis.
