Can you use Maxitrol in the ointment for 3 weeks?
The doctor for blepharitis prescribed me maxitrol ointment, which I should use for 3 weeks. I used to take cortineff for a week. Is it possible to use this ointment for so long without the supervision of a doctor.

Maxitrol ointment is usually used for 5-7 days, unless there is a clear justification for longer use of the drug.
Longer use of the preparation should be under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.
If you experience any worrying symptoms or the symptoms of blepharitis do not go away, I encourage you to re-consult your doctor sooner.
According to the leaflet, the duration of treatment with Maxitrol is determined by the attending physician. For glaucoma patients, it is strongly recommended to limit the treatment to a maximum of 2 weeks.
