The active substance in Esogno is absorbed quickly, which allows you to reach the maximum concentration of the medicine in your plasma about an hour after administration (therefore, you should take it just before bedtime). Taking the drug in combination with a meal containing significant amounts of fat may extend the absorption period (by about another hour).

Additional dosage information:

"The recommended starting dose is 1 mg. The dose may be increased to 2 mg or 3 mg if clinically indicated. It is recommended to use the lowest effective dose of Esogno for the patient. The total dose should not exceed 3 mg."
