Good morning, 15 months my daughter was given antibiotic azitrolek 2.5 ml x 1 a day. By chance, after 8 hours, my husband gave her a second dose of this antibiotic, because I thought that it was given like the one taken by the son (another). Could something have happened? We do not have the opportunity to contact a pediatrician today, only tomorrow.

Don't worry – a single dose of Azithromycin (azithromycin) usually does not pose a risk to the baby's health. Most often, if something appears, it is mild abdominal symptoms: diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or possibly skin reactions. In most cases, however, such situations end without any complications.
If you experience worrying symptoms such as significant weakness or severe rash, please go to the nearest evening care (Night and Christmas Health Care). Tomorrow morning it is also advisable to consult the pediatrician to confirm whether, due to this mistake, the duration of the entire treatment should not be corrected.
