Hello, I've been using Evra patches for almost a year. I'm currently in the process of using the second patch. For three days I have initially had brown spotting, after two days I also have blood with clots, and I also feel a slight discomfort in the lower abdomen. Is this a cause for concern?

If you notice other ailments, such as fever, increased bleeding, a significant increase in the amount of secretion and the size of clots, you should see a doctor. When using hormonal contraception, it is worth going to the gynaecologist from time to time for a check-up and blood tests.
