What is the risk of getting pregnant if Escapelle was taken 30 minutes after intercourse?
Hello, my girlfriend and I had intercourse 1 day before her ovulation (according to the cycle tracker), and the condom failed us.
She took an Escapelle pill 30 minutes after the accident. What are the chances of her getting pregnant? It's now been 5 days since it happened.

The effectiveness of Escapelle taken within 72 hours of intercourse is approximately 84%. The sooner the patient takes the "after pill", the more effective its effect will be (which was the case in the situation described). Escapelle can cause cycle disorders and delayed menstruation. If the delay exceeds 5-7 days, a pregnancy test should be performed.
