A beta-hCG result <2.3 14 days after intercourse and a negative urine test a day later practically rule out pregnancy. Delayed menstruation and pain and burning in the lower abdomen can result, among m.in other things, from stress, hormonal disorders or urinary/intimate tract infections. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is worth performing a gynecological examination and possibly a urine test to determine the cause of the ailment.
