Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, you should take Encorton and Kalipoz in the morning, after breakfast.

Because calcium is best absorbed if you divide the dose, e.g. 500 mg in the morning, 500 mg in the evening, always after a meal, so it can be taken, for example, in the form of half a tablet after lunch and half a tablet after dinner, or a whole tablet, e.g. after lunch.

Methotrexate – in the evening, on a fixed day of the week.

Taking calcium, vitamin D3 and potassium is very important when using Encorton. In addition, the supply of sodium in the diet should be limited.

According to the manufacturer:

"The risk of osteoporosis associated with long-term use of glucocorticoids can be reduced by administering calcium and vitamin D or by using appropriate physical exercise if the patient's condition allows."

"Prednisone administered in medium and high doses can cause an increase in blood pressure, water and sodium retention, and increased potassium excretion. It may be necessary to limit sodium in the diet and supplement potassium."
