Coxitex (etoricoxib) is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug that is used in the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time – the length of the treatment should be decided by the doctor depending on the cause of the pain and the body's reaction.
Mesopral (omeprazole) not only treats reflux, but also protects the stomach from irritation by anti-inflammatory drugs, which is why it is often administered prophylactically. A probiotic is not necessary for this treatment regimen, but it can be considered if you experience intestinal complaints (e.g. bloating, diarrhea).
