These drugs should not be combined.

Jardiance (empagliflozin) and Forxiga (dapagliflozin) are drugs from the same group of SGLT2 inhibitors, used to treat type 2 diabetes (as well as heart failure and chronic kidney disease). Since their mechanisms of action are the same, they should not be combined, as this increases the risk of dangerous side effects, such as dehydration, infections of the genitourinary system, drop in blood pressure (palpitations, fainting, weakness, drowsiness, loss of concentration) or ketoacidosis.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
