Hi, it's my second week of zoloft 0.25 and tomorrow I should increase to 50.
For a few days paresthesias and muscle tension/pain in the legs and arms. I need continuous straching. Is it a side effect that will pass??

Side effects of Zoloft, such as abnormal sensations, tremors and increased tension, are described as common (in ≥1/100 to <1/10 people). These symptoms should usually disappear as therapy continues, although increasing the dose may worsen them or prolong their duration. Each patient responds differently to treatment. I encourage you to report the occurrence of symptoms to your doctor, especially if they are severe (in the case of severe symptoms, consultation before increasing the dose is recommended). If the symptoms are not bothersome, but worsen after increasing the dose, you should also report this to your doctor, who will assess the situation and possibly adjust the dosage or change the therapy strategy .
