Since ovulation took place on August 1 and intercourse was on August 9, the risk of fertilization is minimal, because the egg cell is in the body only for about 12-24 hours after ovulation. The pill should effectively prevent a possible pregnancy in this situation. If you have doubts or experience worrying symptoms, it is worth consulting a doctor.
