If I had a burp and a sour taste in my mouth after taking the birth control pill, could the protection be reduced?

Hello, today about 20 minutes after swallowing the contraceptive pill I felt a lot. In addition, immediately after that, I felt a sour taste, as if some of the food content had retreated into the esophagus. I didn't vomit, plus I had my mouth closed during the burp and I immediately drank a few sips of water. I would like to ask whether such a circumstance can affect the effectiveness of the Liberelle contraceptive pills?

The situation you described does not affect the effectiveness of contraception, protection is maintained and there is no reason to worry.
Protection could be reduced if vomiting or diarrhoea occurs within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet. In your case, nothing like this occurred, so there is no reason to worry that the protection was reduced.
