Good morning. She uses the Yasmin contraceptive pill. Yesterday I finished the packaging and today I started the treatment with the antibiotic Amoksiklav, which is supposed to last 10 days, i.e. until 3.07 inclusive. I'm supposed to have bleeding on Friday. When will be the safest time for intercourse without additional protection?

It is recommended that for the entire period of antibiotic use and 7 days after the end of treatment, in addition to hormonal contraception, an additional, barrier form of contraception (condom) should be used.
If you finish the treatment on 03.07.2025, intercourse without an additional, barrier form of contraception (condom) can be had after 10.07.2025.
