Encorton (prednisone) does not directly impair the effect of hormonal contraception, but long-term use of glucocorticoids may increase the risk of side effects such as fluid retention and hormonal fluctuations. If the Encorton treatment is short-term, there should be no problem.
I have one more question: do encorton pills affect sylvie 20 birth control pills? I have Encorton in a dose of 10 mg, 2 tablets in the morning and one after lunch. I have encorton pick to the end of my cough pack.
