Hello. I recently created the iPlant contraceptive. Now I have to use VICHY Dercos Aminexil shampoo and VICHY Dercos Aminexil Intensive ampoules for hair loss. Tell me, can Aminexil somehow affect the performance of the implant? And can some cosmetics affect its properties at all? Will Botox injections affect its effect? The use of scalp cosmetics will not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. The ingredients contained in the above-mentioned preparations migrate to a minimal extent into the bloodstream and do not have a systemic effect. A similar situation applies to all other cosmetics applied to the skin.
You can take Loratadine while using hormonal contraception - the drugs do not interact.
I have not found any information about the negative effects of botox on contraception. A contraindication to botulinum toxin treatment is the use of certain drugs, e.g. antibiotics from the group of aminoglycosides (e.g. azicin).
