Good evening. I use combined oral contraception. At 6 p.m. I ate cream soup. At 7 p.m. I took a pill. At 7:10 p.m. I felt a once-recurring stomach contents, a bitter aftertaste from the soup I had eaten. Should I take another pill? There was no vomiting. Immediately after the incident, I drank water. At the moment I feel like I have a slightly irritated throat.

There is no need to take an additional tablet, the protection is maintained.
The reflux of food content into the esophagus, without vomiting, does not affect the effectiveness of contraception.
The feeling of irritation is typical in this case, caused by the regurgitation of acidic contents from the stomach into the esophagus. This symptom passes shortly after the event and should not be alarming either.
Protection is provided. Subsequent tablets should be taken according to the standard schedule.
