If you had a dominant follicle during your visit on December 19, it means that ovulation probably occurred within 24-48 hours after that date. Therefore, the potential fertilization could have occurred between December 20 and 21.
Beta-hCG begins to be detectable in the blood about 7-10 days after fertilization, which means that the test can be performed from December 28. The test performed today should already provide reliable results.
