Can there be breast pain during ovulation during Dionelle?
9.99 zł

Good morning
She is taking Dionelle tablets. I'm now after ovulation according to the calendar. I noticed that exactly the day after ovulation I have enlarged breasts and it hasn't changed ever since. That is, a few days already. I don't know if it means that something is not working properly ? I will add that in that blister I took 2 active pills in one day, so can it affect it?

When taking contraceptive pills, do not follow the calendar.
Dionelle is designed to inhibit ovulation and prevent fertilization. In addition, the drug has other mechanisms, m.in. it thickens the cervical mucus, which also prevents fertilization. When using the drug, there is no natural menstruation, but artificially induced withdrawal bleeding, so you should not be guided by the fertile days calendar. The fact that the breasts are swollen, tender and painful is related to the supply of hormones, not to the fact that the drug does not work or ovulation takes place.

The fact that you took two pills in one day could have increased the risk of side effects, i.e. increased breast pain. However, this does not affect the effectiveness of contraception.
