Proper use of hormonal contraception provides effective protection against pregnancy, amounting to approx. 99.7%. The medicine should be taken at approximately the same time each day, according to the order marked on the blister.
With the correct use of hormonal contraception, ovulation is inhibited.
If the discharge that appears in you is whitish and its consistency is uniform, it is probably normal discharge, which may appear during the use of contraceptives and is not a cause for concern.
If the vaginal discharge that worries you has an unpleasant smell and lumpy consistency, as well as co-occurs with other symptoms, such as burning and itching, it may indicate an intimate infection. Irregular bleeding may occur during the first months of use. Assessment of cycle regularity can be done no earlier than after three cycles of use of the drug. If irregular bleeding persists, non-hormonal causes should be considered and appropriate diagnostic tests performed.
