Hello, What happens if I don't take my first Vixpo contraceptive pill after a 4-day break? I wanted to postpone the withdrawal bleeding by skipping the last active pill from the previous blister, but I forgot that the day of taking the first of the next blister would also change. Unfortunately, I realized it only after 2 days and it was too late to take the missed pill.

If you extend the 4-day break by one day, you should treat this situation as skipping a tablet for 1-7 days. According to the manufacturer's information, subsequent pills should be taken at a fixed, fixed time and an additional, barrier contraceptive method (e.g. a condom) should be used during intercourse for the next 7 days. If you have had unprotected sex in the week before you missed the pill, you are at risk of becoming pregnant due to a reduction in contraceptive protection.
