Is it normal that I have spotted for a week after I was late with the 9th Drovelis tablet?
9.99 zł

Hi, if you miss a Drovelis tablet on day 9 of your cycle, and take two in 10 (missed in the morning, two in the evening) can you experience intracyclic spotting?

On the 11th day of the cycle, spotting occurred, which continues to this day (18th day).

Is this normal?

To @Xyz123:

No, Clindamycin does not affect the effectiveness of Drovelis contraception.
On the other hand, the infection or inflammation itself can lead to the appearance of bleeding or mid-cycle spotting.

Can mid-cycle spotting occur while taking Drovelis tablets and using the antibiotic Clindamycin (used for dental purposes)? Painkillers were also used, tablets were always taken at the same time, and spotting occurred on the 17th day of the cycle...

To @Xyz123:
Yes, this is typical if you miss a pill.

Xyz123 (Anonymous, 104.28.129.) 1 year ago

And can it happen that spotting will occur for 10-11 days? After that it will be ok, and after 3-4 days minimalist spotting will appear in the form of mucus with an admixture of blood?

To @Xyz123:

Yes, spotting can last up to 10 days.

Xyz123 (Anonymous, 104.28.129.) 1 year ago

Could it happen that the spotting lasts only 10 days?

In your case, no more than 24 hours have passed between the time you usually take the medicine and the actual intake of the tablet, i.e. the protection was maintained and the relationship is secured.
The risk is about 1% - this is what the manufacturer says when the drug is used correctly (which is the case in your case).

If you have intercourse on the 6th day of the cycle and the pill was omitted on the 9th, what is the risk of conception?

Even another pack of pills.
In this situation, the bleeding that usually occurs on placebo tablets may not occur. Despite this, protection is maintained at all times.

How long can such spotting last?

This is normal. Delay in taking the tablet increases the risk of spotting and intracyclic bleeding.
From what you write, no more than 24 hours have passed between the time you usually take the pill and the time you actually take it - so the protection is maintained and there is no need to use additional contraception in the form of a condom.
