I started using every evra patch and with the first cycle I had to postpone the period by 2 weeks. I had 5 patches on after removing 5, after a few days I got bleeding. It is very intense. Is there anything to worry about?

To @Patrycja2029:
You can also do so in the next cycle. However, it should be remembered that doing so increases the risk of spotting and mid-cycle bleeding (while wearing the patch). However, it does not affect the effectiveness of contraception.
If I extended my period by 2 weeks during this period, can I postpone my period again in the next cycle? Every now and then you can move your period with plasters

Bleeding occurs after Evra is removed from the patch. However, its intensity may be a cause for concern. Heavy bleeding does not affect the effectiveness of the contraception used.
Evra patches can cause changes in the bleeding profile and can also cause painful bleeding. These are the side effects of the patches.
If the bleeding is very intense and does not stop, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also use the teleconsultation via the m.in portal Gdziepolek.pl:

I also encourage you to report side effects of Evra. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote about how and why to report side effects in the article:
