Good morning, I have been using sulpiride teva 2 times 50 mg for about 5 weeks. I used to take 20 mg of citaxin for about 5 weeks as well, but I stopped taking it at the beginning of April as recommended by my doctor.
Since yesterday there has been a fever of 39 degrees. After taking the apapu, it dropped to 37 degrees.
Could this be due to the above medications?
What should I take to reduce my fever so that it is safe and there is no interaction?
Is this a normal reaction of the body?

It is unlikely that the cause of your fever is Sulpiride if you have been taking it for more than a month. It should be ruled out whether the fever is caused by a developing viral or bacterial infection.
Fever may appear as a side effect, but usually the body responds at the beginning of therapy. If it is accompanied by other symptoms, i.e. impaired consciousness, muscle stiffness, autonomic system instability, increased concentration of certain enzymes, e.g. CPK, the treatment should be discontinued. It is a life-threatening condition.
However, if you have a fever that has occurred without a justified reason, you should stop taking the medication and contact your doctor.
I recommend that you rule out an infection and see a doctor, as abrupt discontinuation can also lead to side effects.
There is no information on significant pharmacological interactions between Sulpiride and paracetamol (i.e. a component of Apapu). Therefore, there are no contraindications to take paracetamol, but with caution.
