What to do if I am taking this medicine Prefaxine and I got pregnant?

I'm using prefaxine, I'm pregnant - unplanned. Before I got pregnant, at 115mg - when I forgot a pill or took it a few hours late, I had withdrawal symptoms. I went down to a daily dose of 75mg, now I'm going down to 37.5mg, but I'm worried about withdrawal symptoms, i.e. nervousness, increased stress, heavy sweating at night, lockjaw, tingling in the head. Blood results are normal, but I'm very worried about the baby, but also about my well-being. What to do? Discontinued? Use?

If you are pregnant, you should consult your doctor urgently. You can take advantage of a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem

According to the package leaflet:
"Prefaxine should only be used after discussing the potential benefits and possible risks to your unborn baby with your doctor."

Prefaxine may increase your newborn's risk of developing a serious condition called persistent pulmonary hypertension syndrome (PPHN). Symptoms such as rapid breathing and cyanosis usually appear within 24 hours after delivery. In addition, the baby may experience the following symptoms after birth: improper food intake and difficulty breathing. Taking Prefaxine at the end of your pregnancy may increase the risk of serious vaginal bleeding shortly after giving birth, especially if you have a history of bleeding disorders. If you experience any worrying symptoms, you should urgently consult a doctor or midwife.

Do not stop treatment with Prefaxine abruptly on your own and without consulting your doctor. Reducing the doses of the drug too quickly, abrupt discontinuation may cause withdrawal symptoms. If, according to the doctor's recommendation, you reduce the dosage of the preparation, you should also consult urgently so that the doctor can establish a new discontinuation schedule. We wrote about whether and when to discontinue medication in the article:
