Good morning. I would like to know what is a safe dose of oxycodone for 24 hours? What is the maximum dosage in general? Second question - what anti-anxiety drugs can I take at the same time as oxycodone? I don't want to put my health at risk, so I hope to get professional help and an answer here. I'm currently taking 160mg once every 24 hours (2x 80mg Oxydolor)

The maximum daily dose is 400 mg.
Patients with cancer pain may require doses ranging from 80 mg to 120 mg, which can be increased up to 400 mg in individual cases. If higher doses are necessary, this should be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the ratio of efficacy, patient tolerability and risk of side effects.
Any change in the dosage of the drug should be consulted with the treating physician.
Combining oxycodone with any antidepressant carries a risk of respiratory depression - respiratory arrest. The higher the doses of both drugs, the higher the risk. As research shows: "Concomitant use of most opioids and TLPDs (e.g., opipramol, amitriptyline) proceeds without complications, although cases of excessive drug sedation and respiratory depression are known. "
At the same time, it is necessary to know that drugs from this group, e.g. amitriptyline.
In addition, sedative antidepressants such as TLPD, atypical medications (mirtazepine and mianserin), and agomelatine in combination with opioids can increase drowsiness, which can increase the risk of falls and respiratory depression.
There is therefore no antidepressant that can be 100% safely combined with oxycodone.
Treatment should be started at low doses and the body's response should be observed.
