I also had it that the anus was kind of clenched and it hurt, it disappeared after about 3 weeks of taking Asertin.

In theory, Asertin may cause involuntary muscle contractions, but the Summary of Product Characteristics does not mention side effects that are similar to the problem described. Indicated medical check-up and assessment of the cause of the situation. If the side effects of the medication are a problem, you may need to change your treatment.
