Can I put on a Ginoring ring 6 weeks after giving birth if I don't have a period?
Hello. I'm 6 weeks postpartum and after a follow-up visit I got Ginoring. Is it possible to put it on immediately despite the absence of menstruation after childbirth?

According to the manufacturer:
"The use of the vaginal therapeutic system should be started in the fourth week after delivery or after a miscarriage in the second trimester of pregnancy. If later initiation of the vaginal therapeutic system, concomitant use of barrier contraception should be recommended for the first 7 days of treatment with the Ginoring vaginal therapeutic system. However, if intercourse has occurred during this time, pregnancy should be ruled out or the patient should wait until the first menstrual period before starting the Ginoring vaginal therapeutic system."
Since in your case more than 6 weeks have already passed - you can apply the disc now, but the protection will be provided only with the second disc - in the next cycle. More here:
