Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) drug that is mainly used to treat gastrointestinal conditions such as stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux, and Barrett's esophagus syndrome. Its main mechanism of action is to reduce the production of stomach acid.

If nausea is related to excessive stomach acid production, pantoprazole can help to alleviate it by eliminating excess acid. However, this is not a direct application of pantoprazole, but only the result of an improvement in the condition of the digestive system.
