As research shows, citicoline is safe and well tolerated by patients, even in high doses. Side effects are very rare and include:
headaches, dizziness, hallucinations, hypertension, shortness of breath or digestive system disorders (nausea, diarrhoea). However, these are extremely rare cases - less than 1 in 10,000 patients using this medicine.
