Can Bactrim forte and Amotaks be combined?

Good morning. Can I start taking an antibiotic (amotaxis) for sinusitis after or during bactrim forte? Slight improvement after bactrim.

Bactrim forte and Amotaks are prescription medicines that can be used together or one after the other if they have been prescribed by doctors who have been informed of all the preparations they are taking.
Bactrim forte is a preparation containing two active substances - sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. Sulfamethoxazole belongs to the group of sulfonamides, these substances may reduce the bactericidal effect of amoxicillin (Amotax). Starting treatment with Amotaxi after stopping taking Bactrim forte reduces the risk of this interaction.
