Why did I bleed on the 6th tablet of Cerazette?

Good morning
I have hemorrhagic periods. I've already taken cyclonamine, exacil and nothing worked. The gynecologist prescribed me a single-ingredient Cezarette due to my thrombocythemia disease (I take anagrelide). I've been taking since the first day of the cycle and it started well ,for 5 days with only spotting. Today is the 6th day and again the blood is splashing. Does this mean that the drug is not working? What to do next?

Irregular spotting and bleeding may be an inconvenience throughout the duration of treatment with Cerazette. Some patients may not bleed at all. Until you consult your doctor, you should take the next tablets at the same time.

If the bleeding is intense and does not stop, I encourage you to consult a gynecologist. You can also take advantage of a teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

I also encourage you to report bleeding as a side effect of Cerazette. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

I am attaching a link that allows you to check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice:
