Can Enterol be used for IBS?

Hello, can enterol be used prophylactically? And if so, for how long? E.g. a whole year after 1 tablet is such an option? I struggle with IBS and this is an excellent probiotic that allows me to function normally.
And the last question, unrelated to my case, does Enterol help with inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's?

Thank you for your reply

Enterol is a medication that can be used as an adjunct to treat diarrhoea that occurs in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). According to the summary of product characteristics, it should not be used for more than a few days after symptoms have resolved.

Prophylactic use of the drug is not indicated. Of course, after consulting your doctor, a different dosage regimen may be considered.

According to available studies, the probiotic boulardii Saccharomuces (S. boulardii) does not prevent clinical relapse in patients with Crohn's disease. Therefore, the use of Enterol will not help with inflammation of the intestines.

Here you can compare the prices of Enterol in online pharmacies and place your order for home delivery or pharmacy pickup:
