Marijuana does not affect the result of a pregnancy test. Such a test specifically detects a hormone secreted in greater quantities during pregnancy - chorionic gonadotropin. In the case of a positive result, it is worth remembering that the chemicals contained in cannabis can harm the fetus. The patient should contact a gynaecologist and, in the case of medical marijuana, the doctor who recommended it.
