Can I safely replace it with Venlectine 50mg the next day when using Paroxinor?

Can I safely stop taking 10 mg of Paroxinor (half a tablet a day) and replace it with Venlectine 50mg the next day? Should I wait, because I'm not clear if such a change is safe.

Any modifications in therapy, including discontinuation of the drug, should be made after consultation with the attending physician who is familiar with your health condition in detail. You can read more about it here:

Treatment with Paroxinor should not be abruptly discontinued overnight. The drug should be discontinued gradually, according to the schedule prescribed by the doctor. Switching should be done under the supervision of a physician who will select the appropriate dose and time of gradual discontinuation of Paroxinor to avoid withdrawal symptoms. If for some reason you do not have a schedule, you should contact the doctor who prescribed the medicine.

The safety of such a change depends on the individual case of the patient and his or her health condition, so as an outsider I am not able to give you individual medical advice only on the basis of a short description.

If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
