Can I use laser treatments while using Sertraline?

Hello, I take sertraline 50 mg and had today for the first time a facial laser appointment.But afterwards I remembered that I was told that you are not allowed to do it? Is it true that I am not allowed to laser myself during this time, is it dangerous?
