Hi. I took potassium as a vitamin for the nervous system, on the 3rd day I started to have stomach pain and heartburn, which lasted a week and still occurs today. Will Omeprazole or Polprazole help eliminate these pains without serious consequences? Thank you.

Side effects of potassium preparations mainly affect the gastrointestinal tract. The most common are: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, abdominal pain, rarely ulcers of the stomach or intestines.
