Can exposure to the light of a night lamp affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?
Can the light of the lamp damage drugs just like the sun? My birth control pills lay in the blister outside the cardboard box and were in the range of the night lamp light (it was not a sharp light, but still...), but not under the lamp for about 10 hours and I do not know if it could have harmed them. Do you buy new ones?

For @Anonim: The light of the lamps does not emit UV radiation, which can damage the chemical structure of the active substances contained in contraceptives, so keeping the pills in a room with artificial lighting will not affect their effectiveness.
Can the effectiveness of birth control pills be changed by keeping the pills in the room where we shine the light? Does the light from the lamp on the ceiling affect the contraceptive pills?

Lampka nocna nie emituje promieniowania UV, które może uszkadzać strukturę chemiczną substancji leczniczych, również tych zawartych w środkach antykoncepcyjnych. Należy jednak unikać przechowywania leków w bezpośrednim otoczeniu źródeł ciepła, np. lamp o dużej mocy, ponieważ w temperaturze powyżej 25°C substancja lecznicza może ulec przemianom wpływającym na jej działanie.
Jeśli tak, jak w przypadku o którym Pani pisze, nie było to ostre światło, prawdopodobieństwo, że skuteczność środka antykoncepcyjnego mogła ulec osłabieniu jest znikoma.
