Do not stop taking escitalopram medicines abruptly, as withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness and headaches, sleep disturbances, restlessness and irritability may occur. If you have the opportunity to seek medical advice and purchase the medicine at your place of residence, this will probably be a better option.
Information in the summary of product characteristics:
"Abrupt discontinuation of the product should be avoided. When discontinuing treatment with Acprex, the dose should be gradually reduced over a period of at least 1-2 weeks to avoid withdrawal symptoms."
