Good morning, I suffer from an anxiety disorder and I am taking Pregabalin 75 mg x2
and Xanax for 2 weeks daily at a dose of 0.125 mg (I divide the 0.25 mg tablet in half) per day
Can I have any withdrawal symptoms if I stop taking Xanax suddenly after this time of use?

Xanax is a potent drug that can only be obtained with a prescription. Any changes in dosage as well as discontinuation of the drug should be consulted with a doctor.
Rapid reduction of the alprazolam dose or abrupt discontinuation of alprazolam may lead to the appearance of side effects such as the "rebound" phenomenon or withdrawal symptoms. The dose should therefore be reduced gradually.
Abrupt discontinuation of treatment may lead to withdrawal symptoms ranging from headache, muscle ache, severe anxiety, tension, psychomotor agitation, disorientation, irritability to derealization, depersonalization, hearing impairment, stiffness and tingling of the limbs, hypersensitivity to light, noise and touch, hallucinations or epileptic seizures.
When treatment is discontinued, "rebound" symptoms such as insomnia or anxiety may appear. In these circumstances, mood changes, anxiety, sleep disturbances and psychomotor agitation may also occur.
