What side effects can be caused by continuous use of Xanax?

I wanted to know what are the side effects of taking Xanax (Alprox) at a dose of 0.5 for a longer period of time. I've been taking this medication one or more tablets a day for about three months. Can memory disorders and deterioration, poor movements, constant sinus problems, nasal congestion, dry mouth especially at night, hunger pangs and weight gain be caused by this drug?

According to the summary of product characteristics, Xanax is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of anxiety in adults. Xanax is only indicated for severe disorders in which the symptoms are severe, prevent the patient from functioning properly or are very bothersome for them.
Xanax should be used at the lowest possible effective dose, for the shortest possible time, and for a maximum of 2-4 weeks. The patient should be evaluated frequently and the need for prolongation of treatment, especially if the severity of the patient's symptoms decreases or the symptoms resolve. Long-term treatment is not recommended. The risk of addiction may increase with the dose and duration of treatment.
In terms of side effects:
- constipation and dry mouth - they are very common, even in more than one patient in ten,
- muscle weakness - uncommon,
- fatigue and irritability - very common,
- weight gain - often,
- memory disorders - very common.
