I've been taking pregabalin for about 1 month. I have intercostal neuromas. Nothing has helped for a year, so I was prescribed it. I started at 75 a day. Then at the end of 450/day. Recently I took 3 days ago 300/morning pills only.
I've had nightmares all night. Are these withdrawal symptoms? I feel like my heart is pounding sometimes.
I wanted to give up the pills because it was better. But today it hurts more again and I took 150. What to do? Be afraid to sleep.

Discontinuation of Pregabalin use should be consulted with a doctor. This cannot be done suddenly, but the dose should be reduced gradually until it is completely discontinued. This also applies to any changes in the dosage of the drug – it must be discussed with the doctor, precisely because of the risk of withdrawal symptoms.
According to current clinical practice, if pregabalin treatment needs to be discontinued, it should be discontinued gradually over a period of at least 1 week, regardless of the indication.
Withdrawal symptoms have been observed in some patients following discontinuation of short- and long-term pregabalin therapy. The following events occurred: insomnia, headache, nausea, anxiety, diarrhea, influenza-like syndrome, nervousness, depression, pain, seizures, excessive sweating and dizziness, suggestive of physical dependence.
I advise you to contact your doctor as soon as possible and set up a dosage plan.
