Is serpina himalaya safe for use for heart and hypertension? And how to take it for emotional states and blood pressure spikes with them? I consider the manufacturer's doses to be high. I am asking for the opinion of an expert, not a pharmacist, who will read on the Internet. Best regards

Serpina Himalaya, an herbal supplement with reserpine, may stabilize blood pressure in some people, but the lack of large, modern clinical trials means uncertainty about long-term safety.
Although the preparation has existed since the 1970s, but as an Ayurvedic supplement it is not subject to rigorous research like pharmaceutical drugs – the lack of reimbursement and regulation makes it impossible to finance large RCT studies. User reviews point to the benefits with annual use (stable pressure, less stress), but experts emphasize the unpredictability of the effects and the need for monitoring.
Possible side effects include drowsiness, fatigue or allergic reactions, especially when allergic to drugs such as Prestarium. Please consult another cardiologist to look for alternatives (e.g. beta-blockers without ACEIs).
I drank 1/2 Serpina Himalaya for about a year, I felt great, I haven't had such a well-stable blood pressure for a long time. The cardiologist insisted on drinking me prestarium, from which I am allergic. It's terrible. Now I don't know what to do. Either take pharmacy pills, conduct an experiment on yourself and be afraid to fall asleep. What's going on... Serpina has been on the market since 1970. Is it really impossible to conduct research for such a long period?
I have the same blood pressure, my blood pressure drops a little, but my heart rate is also strongly 50, but I feel good
I've been taking it for 3 weeks, it works to be honest..., so-so. My heart rate lowers a lot, but the pressure is weak, maybe 10 units only down, and upper and lower. I feel pretty good, but 150/90 is a bit too much. I only take 1 in the morning and in the evening, they recommend supposedly 2, but I'm afraid that my heart rate will drop even more, I already have only 50 beats per minute, where it should be at least 70. A good professional may speak, but not blindly believing in systemic medicine.
I've been taking it for years, but not as prescribed. but only half of one tablet to my blood pressure tablets daily. I tried it. 3 days you don't gain weight, and you times the blood pressure has increased... In any case, this shows that it works!

So far, no studies have been conducted on the efficacy and safety of this preparation and others like it in people with heart problems and hypertension.
This preparation contains sarpagandha, which is supposed to help maintain normal blood pressure and have a positive effect on the functioning of the circulatory system.
Since it is a dietary supplement, it has no proven therapeutic effect, but can only be used as a supplement to the daily diet.
So don't give up on traditional treatment. It may be worth consulting, for example, a psychiatrist or psychotherapist. Find the cause of the problem and start the appropriate treatment.
If, despite everything, you decide to use Serpina, you should observe the body's reaction and in the event of symptoms of hypotension, such as headaches during the day, drowsiness, impaired concentration - give up supplementation.
