Can you use Exacyl and Cyclonamine with Doxycyclinum? Does Doxycyclinum affect menstrual bleeding?

There are no contraindications to the use of bleeding reducing drugs Exacyl and Cyclonamine during antibiotic treatment with Doxycyclinum. The use of Exacyl and Cyclonamine should be strictly prescribed by your doctor. Cyclonamine may cause a slight reduction in the effect of Exacyl.

Doxycyclinum may cause bleeding due to anaemia due to m.in breakdown of red blood cells, effects on platelets. A decrease in the number of platelets in the blood can increase the severity of menstrual bleeding. This does not mean that every patient will develop such disorders.
