Good evening, the daughter is to take Nurofen 3x a day (she has a cold and the doctor ordered because she has a fever). My daughter is 9 years old, I gave her paracetamol in the morning, then we went to the doctor and I gave her the first dose of nurofen around 4 p.m. and in the evening before bedtime, I didn't look at the hour and gave it at 9 p.m. This is an hour too fast. Nurofen should be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours. Therefore, administration of Nurofen an hour earlier should not cause negative effects. Possible side effects that may occur are the most commonly reported, i.e. gastrointestinal intolerance.
