These drugs have a local effect, so their overall effect on the body is insignificant, e.g. if they are compared to steroids taken orally.
Ideally, you should take the lowest effective dose possible, so if Duexon can adequately control your asthma symptoms, it's a good idea to stick to your doctor's advice.
