Why do I feel nausea and stomach discomfort when taking a quarter tablet of Lerivon?

Good morning, I have a question about the drug lerivon I was prescribed a dose of 30 mg but the doctor told me to take half or 15 mg for 3 days, I divide half a tablet in half, that is, I take 7.5mg. I have terrible nausea, reflex, vomiting, discomfort in the stomach .can it be?

Stopping Lerivon usually does not cause stomach pain.

In the event of a sudden reduction in the dose of the drug, there is a risk of withdrawal syndrome, which may manifest itself, m.in. in the form of nausea. The occurrence of nausea and discomfort in the stomach may also be associated with taking the split tablet. The manufacturer recommends not to divide Lerivon tablets - breaking the continuity of the tablet shell can cause stomach irritation.
